His first point is that all earthy governments fail at some point, and that the current U.S. experiment with democracy will also fail. This being reflected in our current fling with neo-Marxism. It is just a matter of time. Not because of the current system or the people, so much as because of the influence of sin.
His second point was not letting our troubles with these false temporal kingdom problems distract us from our true eternal kingdom concerns.
I’m not saying this economic crisis brought on by our new Marxist-leaning administration is false and shouldn’t be of concern, I’m saying we must keep our head straight in context of false worldly priorities versus true Gospel priorities.
